All heaters have a lightning symbol that lights up when the heater is actively heating. When this symbol is on, the heater should emit heat. If the lightning symbol is lit, but the heater is not producing any warmth, you can attempt to reset the heater
Resetting your heater:
Generation 2 Heater:
- Turn off the heater.
- While turning the heater back on, hold down the gear button.
- The heater will start counting, and you can release the buttons.
- The heater will settle at 22 degrees. It is now reset.
Generation 3 heater:
- Turn off the heater.
- Turn on the heater, and within 5 seconds, press and hold the gear button.
- Keep the button pressed until you see “FR” appear on the display. First, you’ll see “CHL,” then “COL,” and finally “FR.”
- As soon as you see “FR” on the display, release the button.
- The heater will start counting and eventually settle at 22 degrees. It is now reset.
Generation 3M heater:
- Press the gear button.
- Use +/- to navigate the menu until you see “Hr” on the display.
- Press the gear button to enter reset mode.

After resetting the heater, you can set the temperature up to 35 degrees. If it still doesn’t emit heat, take the heater back to the store where you purchased it and seek assistance. If they are unable to help, contact Mill customer service.
