Our outdoor heaters use infrared light with a short wavelength for warmth. The heaters warm up the objects the light touches, not the air itself, resulting in over 90% heat efficiency.
Please note that an infrared outdoor heater is highly directional, so it's important to consider where the heating element is directed. This can be compared to sunlight - objects not receiving direct light from the outdoor heater will be significantly less heated.
Compared to cheaper or older products, our outdoor heaters are highly efficient.
Outdoor heaters using quartz-halogen or steel tubes, for comparison, only have 60% and 40% heat efficiency, respectively, as they need to heat up the air around the unit. This takes time.
An infrared outdoor heater will provide full power and noticeable warmth within seconds of being turned on
