The following answer only applies to the Mill Oil series: AB-H700MINI, AB-H1000MEC and JA-series (JA1000, JA1500, JA2000)
The heater’s temperature sensor is placed on the heater itself, and depending on where you are in location to the heater it is possible to experience deviation between the registered temperature on the heater and the actual temperature where you are in the room.
It is possible to adjust the registered temperature on the heater so that it matches the actual temperature in the room. All Mill Oil heaters are equipped with a calibration function, meaning you can adjust the registered temperature on the heater.
Do the following steps to calibrate your heater:
- Push the Function (gear symbol) button two times. “C” will blink in the display indicating your heater is open for calibration
- Use the temperature dial to set the actual temperature in the room
- Confirm the change by pushing one time on the function button (gear symbol)
We recommend you keep the heater on (with the same temperature setting) for 12 hours to make sure the calibration is correct.
